Student earns exclusive scholarship from The LAGRANT Foundation

School of Journalism and Graphic Communications public relations student Sidney Berry is a recipient of the LAGRANT Foundation’s 2022 Scholarship Program. Berry was one of 30 undergraduate students who received a $2,500 scholarship. TLF awarded a total of $150,000 in scholarships to 50 ethnically diverse college & university students across the nation.  

Berry attended the scholarship program in New York City in May and met the LAGRANT Foundation’s CEO Kim Hunter. Throughout the multi-day event, scholarship recipients participated in exclusive professional development and networking opportunities hosted by General Motors, Google, Marina Maher Communications, Procter & Gamble and Walmart.  

Berry is a third-year public relations scholar at Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University. She is also the 2022-2023 junior class president and a member of the Original Beta Alpha Chapter of Alpha Kappa Sorority, Inc.
