Breche’ DaValt earned NFL Entertainment Partnerships & Cause Initiatives Intern after working with FAMUAN, News 20 at 5
Breche’ DaValt is the sole NFL Entertainment Partnerships & Cause Initiatives Intern for summer 2022. In the internship, The Saint Louis native has the opportunity to assist with research and pre-production of stories focusing on social action and justice, pulling and compiling footage, scripting, producing, editing, and pitching stories, and observing film production on location.
Breche’ said her work in SJGC helped her stand out as a student in media.
“I’m so grateful I have to thank God for the opportunity,” DaValt said. ”SJGC has given me the confidence to keep striving for big things.”
The rising senior has accumulated a wealth of experience in the School of Journalism and Graphic Communication. DaValt was the Sports Editor of the FAMUAN, FAMU’s official student-led newspaper. She also volunteers with FAMU TV 20, an educational access cable channel that reaches 80,000 households in four North Florida counties, including Leon, Gadsden, Taylor, and Wakulla.
