Florida A&M University (FAMU) School of Journalism & Graphic Communication (SJGC) senior Jarvis Coleman, has been selected to join the prestigious 2025 IPREX Academy, a global professional program designed to prepare the next generation of public relations leaders.

IPREX Academy typically hosts emerging leaders from independent agencies worldwide; however, Coleman, a public relations major, is the only student selected to participate in the highly competitive program.

“I am incredibly honored to be selected,” Coleman said. “This opportunity will allow me to further enhance my skills, connect with industry leaders and gain insights that will contribute to my career development.”

The program will assist the cohort in “elevating their careers, expanding their networks, and gaining unparalleled industry insights in media relations, crisis management, and communication strategies.”

IPREX, a $508 million network of communication agencies, includes more than 1,100 professionals across 100 global markets. The organization ranks as the tenth-largest communications group, according to The Holmes Report, and continues to support talent development through resources, best practices, and partnerships with universities.
