FAMU PRSSA x St. Jude PR Challenge
The FAMU chapter of PRSSA is hosting a PR challenge by St. Jude
TALLAHASSEE, FL (January 22, 2023) – The St. Jude Influencer Marketing challenge has come to FAMU. Students have the opportunity to participate in teams to present a comprehensive PR plan. The project focus is on launching a new influencer relationship supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, with the goal of deepening brand engagement with the Gen Z audience.
The PR challenge is a semester long project that will kick off on January 25 and end in early April. The project introduction will be a meeting with the St. Jude team and project mentors to give the full parameters of the project.
The objective of the PR project calls for students to create an innovative and effective approach to increase the next generation of St. Jude supporters through multiple channels such as, social engagement, volunteerism, fundraising and individual giving (donations).
This project allows students to gain real world experience improving a nonprofit’s communication and social strategy while gaining mentorship and guidance by industry professionals.
