Laila Jade Wilson, a third-generation FAMUan and graduating broadcast journalism major, is ready to use her voice to advocate against injustice. Inspired by the legacy of those who came before her, Wilson’s journalism training, coupled with her stellar career as a popular DJ, is taking her on a journey to become the next successful criminal justice attorney.

FAMU SJGC students Darnell Walker-Jones, broadcast journalism; Germanie Bozeman, public relations; and Rowan Mumford, broadcast journalism, are the creative minds behind “Bullet,” a documentary in the running to win the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Coca-Cola HBCU Sports Production Grant at the Sports Emmys in May. They will screen their film on April 30 on FAMU's campus.
