FAMU Director of Government Relations, SJGC alumna Danielle McBeth Wins Top Lobbyist Award

Danielle McBeth, director of government relations at Florida A&M University, has been named as a 2023 Top Lobbyist by the National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics (NILE). 

The prestigious award was created by NILE in 2020 as a way to recognize “excellence in lobbying” through merit-based performance. Nominees are selected 

“I am indeed humbled to be honored among such esteemed members of this profession and most grateful to NILE for this special recognition,” wrote McBeth in a LinkedIn post. “We are most fortunate to have tremendous campus-wide collaboration to aid in our successful advocacy on behalf of one of the top 100 public universities in the country.”

McBeth is a graduate of FAMU’s School of Journalism & Graphic Communication journalism program and holds a law degree from American University’s Washington College of Law. She also serves as president of the Washington Government Relations Group.

Recipients of the 2023 Top Lobbyist award were celebrated at a reception on November 16, 2023 in Washington, DC.
