The FAMU Chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) hosted a “Photoshop Basic Training” course to refresh students with the fundamental skills of Photoshop. Florida A&M University is an Adobe Creative Campus, a recognition of the institution’s commitment to innovative digital literacy.
”With this crash course, I wanted to give students the chance to start from scratch and remind them that working in Photoshop takes time,” Destiny Gaines, the course instructor, says. “In the end, once you see your vision come to life through your work in Photoshop, the tedious work will be worth it.” Gaines serves as the social media manager and graphic specialist for the FAMU Chapter of NABJ.
