Working alongside WFSU Public Media (@wfsupublicmedia), SJGC Alum Lynn Hatter debuted her documentary, “Retro Local.” The project dug deep into the historical issues of the Tallahassee community by examining two key turning points in the city’s history. Following the screening, there was a panel discussion moderated by WFSU’s Gina Jordan, with panelists FAMU SJGC Professor Kenneth Jones, FAMU History Professor Reginald Ellis, and WFSU-FM News Director, Lynn Hatter. The topics covered in the documentary sparked meaningful conversation and dialogue shared by panelists and event attendees.
