Recent graduate Nadia Tsegga begins an internship with the billion-dollar brand Nike in June. The graphic design student will serve as a digital product intern. Tsegga said she’s had a lifelong affinity for the world’s largest athletic apparel company.
“I was attracted to Nike because of my love for sneakers and their sponsorships of inspiring influencers that expand their social impact,” she said.
Tsegga is an award-winning graphic designer, former vice president of the U.Design Club, and graphic specialist for the School of Graduate Studies, Research, and Continuing Education. Tsegga recently lead team or graphic design students to winning a national American Advertising Federation ADDY Award, a first for the division. Tsegga said getting the internship felt like a dream come true.
“Nike was always one of my favorite brands growing up,” she said. “I’m excited to impact the world by using technology to make fitness and sports a part of our daily lives.”
